From a young age, I knew I was meant to be a storyteller. Telling stories and creating art was my way of coping with life's challenges, forging bonds, and expanding my world. That same spark continues to burn bright in my soul as I collaborate with others to tell stories that make the world a little bit brighter. Every cut I make is motivated by one desire: to help others see the world a little differently. By weaving together traditional storytelling techniques with the formal aesthetics pioneered by experimental filmmakers, I seek to imbue a sense of excitement and empathy in all of my work. That’s what I believe is the ultimate responsibility of wielding the kino-eye. My goal isn't just to tell powerful and unique stories: it's to bypass barriers in the name of informing, entertaining, and inspiring others. |
